The musical endeavor of an honest young man, Like Wild is the solo undertaking of Lancaster County’s own Patrick Hatt. Like Wild's finely honed and uniquely folksy-Americana style channels his own down to earth and personable nature and infuses it in songs written about the extraordinary parts of the everyday: love, optimism, and the ultimate importance of being true to yourself.
Like Wild's self-titled debut was released June 15th, 2010. The four song EP is a loosely compacted nugget of the stuff that makes Like Wild so easy to listen to - simple, genuine songs about the relatable problems and feelings everyone experiences. The EP was produced and engineered by friend Kurt DeMarra and mastered by Carl Saff, and is available through iTunes, Amazon, and other digital retailers. Be sure to catch Like Wild live in the upcoming months in support of his brand new release.

Track Name: Somethin' Kinda Strange
I would be the seven seas
Just so you could sail on me
Think of all the treasure you'd find
I would be the city streets
Just so you could walk on me
And talk about whatever is on your mind
I would be the tallest tree
Just so you could look at me
Whenever you're feeling down
I would be the wind that blows
Right outside your window
Hoping that you will come out

Yeah it's somethin' kinda strange
I can feel it in my veins
That's why I know I need you

I would be the desert land
Just so you could take my sand
And build a beach meant for two
I would be the letter sent
Mailed to your front door step
To tell you what I think about you

Yeah it's somethin' kinda strange
I can feel it in my veins
That's why I know I need you
Yeah it's somethin' kinda strange
I feel it time and time again
That's why I would be anything for you
Track Name: Truth Resides
I've been searchin' for a reason to believe
But who is the saint and who's the enemy
Fathers and sons have been fightin' centuries
To only be deceived by their filthy country
Believe what you've seen no not what you've been told
Even god sees dollar signs, souls can be sold
The kids will buy anything and so will the old
But keep your wallet in your pocket, don't be the fool

Open your eyes, do let the lies fill up your mind
Open your eyes, and try to find where truth resides, tonight

Evil was built where two towers used to stand
And blamed on the people of a profitable land
There's good and there's bad in the mind of every man
You can either live an honest life or go with their plan
Times haven't changed no, they've only gotten worse
United we all stand and united we stand cursed
Money, fame, and power reign over our self worth
Until one day those bastards own the entire fucking earth

Open your eyes, do let the lies fill up your mind
Open your eyes, and try to find where truth resides, tonight

We're a nation of slaves
As the wealthy get paid
It's time that we made
Ourselves a change

Open your eyes, do let the lies fill up your mind
Open your eyes, and try to find where truth resides, tonight
Track Name: For Yourself
And so you say that you want
An education, a great occupation
And a big house in the burbs
But all that I need
Are my friends, and these summer plans
To get the hell out of this town

Our world is coming to an end
And when the sun dies out
Nothing will matter then
So what's the point in livin'
If you're not livin' for yourself

And so you say that you have
A painted picture, of a bright future
That was painted by someone else
But all that I got
Are my dreams, and these six strings
To get the hell out of this town

Our world is coming to an end
And when the sun dies out
Nothing will matter then
So what's the point in livin'
If you're not livin' for yourself
Track Name: Can You Hear?
Can you hear the old man cry?
As his wife passes by
If you listen deep inside
You'll always hear him singing
Can you hear the soldier scream?
As he wakes from his dreams
But he'll never admit defeat
So you'll always hear him singing

La Di Da
La Di Da
La Di Da
You'll always hear them singing

Can you hear the mother weep?
As her child loses sleep
But even out in the streets
You'll always hear her singing
Can you hear the pastor preach?
About a god that no one sees
But no matter who believes
You'll always hear him singing

La Di Da
La Di Da
La Di Da
You'll always hear them singing

Can you hear that melody?
The one that keeps you on your feet
Sometimes that's all you need
So just always keep on singing
Can you hear that song inside?
The one that keeps you up at night
Sing it loud till the morning light
Yeah just always keep on singing

La Di Da
La Di Da
La Di Da
Yeah just always keep on singing
